If your looking for adventure, you've come to the right place!!! Our cadets participate in a wide range of exciting events each year. These include:

Rappelling
Field Training Exercise
Land Navigation
Physical Training
Ranger Challenge
Weapons Fire

If any of these events sound exciting to you then maybe you should give Michigan Tech Army ROTC a try!! Our field training exercise includes combat training, weapon firing, and will place you in tough conditions to test what you are made of. Our Ranger Challenge team participates in a tough competition against other universities each fall.

Leadership Training

We develop leaders. Army ROTC is the best leadership course offered to college students in the world. Army ROTC has trained such great men as Colin Powell (Secretary of State), Sam Walton (founder of Walmart), General Shelton (Former Chairman of Joint Chiefs) and many, many more. Army ROTC emphasizes problem solving, leadership, self confidence, and ethics. All of these are critical for leaders both in the Army and in corporate America.
