Welcome to Auxiliary Services at Michigan Tech! Auxiliary Services is a consortium of distinct operating units providing services to students, campus and the community that are traditionally considered non-academic.

The mission of Auxiliary Services is to enhance the quality of life at Michigan Tech and prepare students to create the future. We are essential to the identity and quality of Michigan Tech by efficiently and effectively serving students, faculty, staff, alumni and the broader community and are fully engaged in and focused on supporting the mission of the University.

We see stewardship as our primary role: to carefully and responsibly conduct, supervise, manage, utilize and develop the resources that we have been entrusted with, including people, property and financial assets. Specifically, we intentionally focus on strengthening relationships, developing products and services, and managing and improving assets.

At Michigan Tech the operating units of Dining Services, the Campus Bookstore, University Images, Rozsa Center for the Performing Arts, Michigan Tech Ticketing, the Memorial Union, Mont Ripley Ski Hill, Portage Lake Golf Course and Public Safety and Police Services comprise the department named Auxiliary Services. Auxiliary Services is also home-base for the Continuous Improvement using Lean Principles effort at Michigan Tech.
