2009 Women's League:

The Women's League meeting is slated for Tuesday May 5th at 7:00 p.m. at the Portage Lake Golf Course. The league consists of 2 golfer tandems competing in a match play format. It is recommended that all players be members of PLGC. However, non-members are encouraged to play as well. The league is set to begin on Tuesday June 2nd and continuing through Tuesday August 11th. Dues to join the league are $50.00 for members and $225 for non-members. This fee covers green fees, league expenses, weekly prizes, and end of year banquet expenses.

2009 Men's League:

Michigan Tech's Portage Lake Golf Course Men's League is set to begin Thursday, June 4th. The PLGC Men's League, consisting of two golfers per team, will begin Thursday, May 28th with a "Fun Day". The official league matches will begin Thursday, June 5th. The league will run 11 weeks ending August 6th, with play-offs slated for August 13th. To end the season, a "Fun Day" will take place on August 20th. The banquet will be held on August 28th. The cost per person to join the league is $75. The $75 league membership includes a GAM (Golf Association of Michigan) membership and handicap, year-end banquet with free beer and wine, and prizes. Substitute players will be charged $35, which includes an official GAM handicap, a $25 value! For the first time ever, non-PLGC members may join the fun. The cost is $300 for non-members. This includes 11 weeks of league play, playoffs, and fun days, as well as weekly prizes and banquet expenses. Please fill out the following application to sign up for Men's league.
