The Michigan Tech Hockey Development Center began in 1972 under the tutelage of the former assistant hockey coach Dan Farrell. Although we have implemented many changes throughout our 37 years, one factor has remained constant, our goal to offer a supportive, positive environment that results in the highest quality experience for young student athletes.  The Michigan Tech HDC has been the hockey school of choice for more than 1,000 players per summer for the past three decades.

The HDC experience is a wonderful learning opportunity. The facilities are second to none; the program is very challenging, organized, and effective; and the scenery makes for a beautiful family vacation.
