Apartment Life
Apartment housing at Michigan Tech was initiated shortly after World War II. In 1960, Michigan Tech established Daniell Heights to better serve the University's housing needs and to meet the demands of its students. Since then, thousands of students, faculty, staff and their families have called Daniell Heights home. At Daniell Heights, we like to think that living here adds positively to the experience of a Michigan Tech education. Our residents' satisfaction is a complement to our ability to fulfill our two primary goals:
- To provide comfortable, quality housing for the students, faculty, and staff of Michigan Tech, at reasonable rates. Rents here are kept affordable for most students, yet they still guarantee that Daniell Heights will be selfsupporting.
- To provide a community atmosphere that complements a Michigan Tech education, through opportunities for cooperative living, social events, and self-government.
