The Daniell Heights Resident Council, or more commonly called DHRC, is an organization that all residents of Daniell Heights are welcome to participate. We sponsor and organize events for residents throughout the academic year and summer. We are always looking for residents willing to help organize events and also suggestions for new events that you may like to see started. Attending DHRC meetings is a great way to offer new suggestions for events or voice opinions of improvements you would like in our community. DHRC meetings are the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30 pm in the Community Room/MTU Preschool.

Upcoming DHRC Events:

- Knitting club. Meets every Wednesday at 7.30pm at the Community Room.  All levels of knitting and crochet  welcome.

- Volleyball Club. The membership is FREE for Daniell Heights residents and their guests. Please come, practice and enjoy on every Wednesday at 6 PM at the SDC (multipurpose room). If you would like to join the club and would like to receive email updates on volleyball practice, please subscribe the email list (dhvolleyball-l@mtu.edu).

New DHRC Activities Room!
The old maintenance shop adjoined to the MTU Preschool has been given to DHRC as a second community room. New vinyl flooring was put in this summer as well as a fresh coat of paint. Any resident may use this room for a non-profit event, meeting, study group, etc. Residents must fill out a form in the office where they will receive a key that must be returned to the office. DHRC is taking suggestions for items in this room.  Currently the room has two sofas, TV, DVD, speakers, and an entertainment center.
