Dining Services - Dining Dollars
"Dining Dollars" are flexible spending dollars included in each meal plan which allow students who miss a meal to eat at times and places that are more convenient to their busy schedules. Dining Dollars can be used in any residence hall dining hall, the Memorial Union Building Food Court, the Aftermath Café located in Fisher Hall, the Campus Café quick-services restaurant located in Wadsworth Hall, the Mon Ripley Ski Hill, and in select vending machines. Have a pizza from Mubsterz or treat a guest to a meal in one of the residence hall dining centers. Although Dining Dollars are non-refundable at year-end, they do roll over from semester to semester during the academic year.
Residents or parents can add money to a Dining Dollar account. These additional Dining Dollar funds can be refunded at the contributor's request at the end of the academic year. Refunds of added Dining Dollars can be done through the Dining Service Office (located in Wadsworth Hall) or at the Tech Express Office (located in the Memorial Union Building). There is a $5.00 fee to refund "added Dining Dollars".

The University picture ID (Tech Express Card) is used for access to the dining room for meals included in the board plan, and also for payment when using Dining Dollars. The cafeteria checker electronically scans the ID to subtract a meal for the week as the resident enters the dining room.
