Parking
Michigan Technological University's Public Safety Offices can provide several
plans for the utilization of guest parking space. (The SDC can provide staff

Student/Custodial Staffing
University students are available to assist you with any set-up, tear-down,
and/or custodial work.
Ticket System
An automated ticketing system can be provided for your use. The system will
be operated by MTU staff and includes a detailed accounting report. (906-487-2073)
Sound and Lighting Group
Arrangements can be made with this student group to provide sound, lighting,
and any other multi-media needs. (906-487-2405)
Technical Trades
Carpenters, electricians, and plumbers are available to provide assistance
for any special needs. (906-487-2711)
SDC Concessions
Depending on the size of your event, the SDC concessions can provide
exceptional concessions during your hours of operations. (906-487-2543)
(Any food or beverage consumed in the SDC in conjunction with any activity
or room rental must be purchased from
MTU Concessions and served by its staff.)
Electronic Message Center
When renting one of the rooms in the SDC, your add will be displayed on a
2' x 8' electronic screen right on US 41 at no additional cost. (906-487-2350)
