Friday Ladies' Day LessonsFridays are Ladies' Day at Mont Ripley with special full-day and half-day ticket rates, special rental rates, and a package that includes a 90 minute lesson, a daily lift ticket and rental equipment all for $39.00. Schedule the lesson package with at least 24 hours' notice. |

Ski/Snowboard Freestyle LessonsBe safe! Learn to jump, ride switch, or do other cool moves the right way. Instruction is offered every Saturday at 1:00 p.m. or by appointment with advanced notice. Lift ticket and rental are not included. Lesson cost: $15 per hour per person |

The Weekend Ripley Ski/Snowboard School: "Ski the Ripley"Mont Ripley has a reputation for being steep and difficult. We're here to change that. Snowmaking and perfect grooming, combined with a guided tour to fit your ability, will show you that skiing or snowboarding on Mont Ripley is not as hard as seems. This program provides group lessons for skiers and snowboarders. The groups are organized by age and ability. We meet Saturdays at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., or Sundays at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., all season long. The special "Ski the Ripley" package includes ninety minutes of instruction, a daily lift ticket, and rental equipment. For never-evers and beginners, we recommend lessons for at least three weeks. Lessons for season passholders are $15 for ninety minutes. Normal cost: $68 Your cost: $15 or $39 |

Ripley KidsThis weekend program offers group lessons to skiers and snowboarders, starting at age two. The focus is on safety, fun, and camaraderie. For the youngest children, the Ripley Tikes have lessons Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until noon. Older children will be divided into groups within the Ripley Rangers based on age and ability. The Rangers have lessons from 10:00am to noon and 12:30 to 2:30 on Saturdays. The cost for either program is $160 for eight weeks or $240 for 12 weeks. Daily tickets are not required if the child only skis or snowboards during lessons. Rental equipment is not included. The fun starts the first weekend of January. Parental involvement is encouraged. Ripley Parents/AdultsThis 6 week Saturday program is for the parents of Ripley Kids or other adults that want to learn to ski or snowboard. It starts Saturday 1/7/06. Lessons are 10am-noon for "never evers" & infrequent skiers and 12:30-2:30 for "rusty" skiers. Daily tickets are not required if the adult only skis during lessons. Rental equipment is not included. After-School Group LessonsGroups will be organized by age and ability. Lessons are an hour and a half, with daily lift tickets and rental equipment included. Lessons are once a week for seven weeks. Each school will have a special day and time. Lessons will be available for the faculty of each school at the same time. The cost is $125 for seven weeks and the lessons start Monday, January 9th. If the school does not provide bussing, parents are responsible for getting students to the hill and for picking them up after their lessons. Carpooling is encouraged. Private LessonsLessons are available by appointment for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. Contact the ticket desk to schedule lessons. Twenty-four-hour notice prior to a lesson is appreciated. Cost is $25 per hour for one person, $15 per person per hour for two people, and $10 per person per hour for three or more people. Lift ticket and rental are not included. |
