Conduct CodeThe Michigan Tech Summer Athletic Program provides both recreational and social opportunities in a relaxed atmosphere. However, all participants must follow certain rules, including a prohibition on using or possessing alcoholic beverages, cigarettes, chewing tobacco, or illegal drugs. In addition, participants must not leave their groups. Failure to follow these rules will result in expulsion from the program, and the fees paid for that program will be forfeited. Application ProcedureRegistration for 2008 begins January 7, 2008. A minimum deposit must accompany each application (Hockey—$150, Basketball, Tennis, College/Developmental Volleyball—$75, Little Huskies Volleyball—$50, Figure Skating—$50 or 25% of total if greater). Make checks payable to Michigan Tech. There will be a $20 fee for all returned checks. All participants must complete the health history form prior to attending camp, and it is recommended that each participant provide the Summer Athletic Program with a copy of a current physical. Participants without a completed health history form will not be able to participate in camp. To secure a spot in Basketball Team Camp, teams must turn in all applications together. Application and Health History Forms are also available online (see top of page). Outstanding balances are due June 6, 2008. Registration is not guaranteed until balance is received and verified. No discount for late arrival or early departure. Payments made after June 6, 2008 will be assessed a $25 late fee. There is a convenience fee of $6 for all payments made by phone, mail, fax, or internet. Please allow two to three weeks for processing. We will send a confirmation of your enrollment. |
